Jim’s Seafood Restaurant on the banks of the Kentucky River in Frankfort  is off the beaten path and provides great food with reasonable prices. My daughter and I recently stopped for lunch early one Monday morning on our way out-of-town.  It was raining but we wanted to get some pictures before the place filled up for lunch. You get a wonderful Kentucky River view of the falls from the dining room as you enjoy a seafood meal.  I had the baby shrimp and my daughter had the grilled shrimp skewer. We had good-sized  portions for the price.  The food was freshly prepared and the grilled shrimp had a good seasoning.  I love their creamy coleslaw.  The waitresses were friendly and asked us several times if everything was good and if we needed anything. Jim’s has an outside patio for sunny summer days. We could not resist getting some pictures of the river views before leaving. Parking is not a problem and their parking space is huge. Jim’s Seafood is a casual dining experience overlooking the Kentucky river with a friendly, relaxing atmosphere and a variety of seafood dishes to meet the appetite. Your family and friends will enjoy this unique restaurant experience on the river and we look forward to returning on a sunny day for more seafood and beautiful views. Jim’s is located at 950 Wilkinson Boulevard, Frankfort, Kentucky.
