Jim’s Seafood Restaurant on the banks of the Kentucky River in Frankfort  is off the beaten path and provides great food with reasonable prices. Jim's Seafood2 My daughter and I recently stopped for lunch early one Monday morning on our way out-of-town.  It was raining but we wanted to get some pictures before the place filled up for lunch. Jim's Seafood FrankfortYou get a wonderful Kentucky River view of the falls from the dining room as you enjoy a seafood meal.  I had the baby shrimp and my daughter had the grilled shrimp skewer. We had good-sized  portions for the price.  The food was freshly prepared and the grilled shrimp had a good seasoning.  I love their creamy coleslaw.  The waitresses were friendly and asked us several times if everything was good and if we needed anything.
