Autumn is probably my second favorite season. While winter will always hold the number one spot, fall means that the overwhelming heat of summer is finally over and I can start wearing jeans, sweatshirts, and beanies again. The other great thing about fall is the changing colors. And since we’re in a new place in a new part of the country and we’re pretty much completely surrounded by forests, I was really looking forward to see what Kentucky would have to offer as far as color changes were concerned. I was not disappointed.

It’s October. Anyone up for a ghost tour at the Perryville Battlefield?
I used to live just outside Perryville in western Boyle County and heard many ghost stories about the Perryville Battlefield and the H.P. Bottoms House. The town and people of Perryville hold a special place in my heart. Great post about the ghost tour.
