Autumn is probably my second favorite season.  While winter will always hold the number one spot, fall means that the overwhelming heat of summer is finally over and I can start wearing jeans, sweatshirts, and beanies again.  The other great thing about fall is the changing colors.  And since we’re in a new place in a new part of the country and we’re pretty much completely surrounded by forests, I was really looking forward to see what Kentucky would have to offer as far as color changes were concerned.  I was not disappointed.

Today my sister took me to try a new restaurant – The Mammoth Railway Cafe in Park City.  It’s part of a bed and breakfast – the Grand Victorian Inn.  I have never written a review of a restaurant before, or food, but as I know the owner of the cafe (He was one of my older brother’s best friends in high school and therefore treated me as an annoying little sister), I thought I should share its amazingness with the world!

The building itself is beautiful. It was built in the late 1800s and has been everything from an inn to a stagecoach to a house/residence to a boys school to a old folks home. It has a great history, and one I would like to learn more about. It had fallen into disrepair when it was bought and restored.  My friend owns the restaurant half, and then there…
